to be honest, i didn't know about the rhyme but looked it up...
How uncanny. I had a photo of pelicans on my desk calendar yesterday. They were snapped underwater, you could see them with those big throat scoops opening trying to catch their lunch.
oh, i can imagine the photo you described, jem. funny how such synchronicities happen at times...
