(my ack comment was because I only saw the little red x square of doom) But now that I see it has popped back up I agree with Jem. I want to pick at it. I want to know the story behind it.
the hat: well, i figured out what your first comment might suggest... this is a detail from a graffiti wall by a staircase... hardly the most attractive place in the world but even there beauty can be found...
sandy: hello, and thank you for your kind words.
jem: i agree. and it can be found in the most unlikely places... beneath this peeling paint is nothing but concrete...
janice: i was hoping somebody would look closely enough to see that piece of tape and i'm glad it was you who mentioned it. thank you :)
get zapped: well, thank you. i must have passed this wall several times without seeing the detail...

ACK!
That is a beautiful graffito!
Urban art can be very beautiful. I like the flaking parts - I want to reach out and pick to see what is revealed beneath.
Wow very bright! Love that little bit of tape and the double meaning of the caption. Good eye Polona.
What a great abstraction of a tag. Great eye.
