janice: i'm pleased you like this. striking similarity, no? ;) (these are probably much lower, though. the mountain dominating this view is triglav, the slovenian highest mountain, and it does not reach 3000 m above sea level)
What strikes me most in this photo the the way the mountains and the clouds look so alike - its like they are trying to compete for the most impressive peaks!

our country (holland) is as flat as a sheet of paper, i grew up in the mountains in australia and miss them a lot...

indeed, jem... i have often noticed how clouds billow just above the mountains or hills in the distance...
