janice: thank you. the angle is quite natural as you can gather from the position of the tree.
fotoface: it's the alps, they are supposed to be steep :)
but, actually, i almost fell at one point stepping off the path in a vain attempt to imitate chamois(i was more concerned about the camera than myself)
Wow - this angle makes me feel quite unstable. Unlike that tree I think I would topple. I am an admirer of hills and mountains, but from a distance, not half way up. But thats for going there to get these photos to share with us.
well, jem, i didn't climb that slope, there's a path which is less steepthan this...
