i'm sorry if this post was misleading in any sense; i'm perfectly fine, just a bit busy, so i haven't been much around taking pics lately. when i browsed thhrough my older photos, this one seemed appealing enough, and the colours and textures of this old stump seemed suggestive of the changing season.
I was also expressing the pain of seeing an old tree brought down...very sad.
