what bird is that, polona. i can see the wing structure from below and the chimney gives the whole thing a sense of scale and perspective. it's good
it's a hooded crow - a fledgling, i think. and thank you

(note: yesterday i actually got within a couple of feet of a dragonfly sunning itself on a stone - sadly it had gone by the time i drove home TO GET MY *^%$)+! CAMERA) :(
