Very nice photo, Polona :)wishes, devika
Do not -- I repeat -- do not stand under that tree. If the snow falls you could die of stiricide! Love the pic, though!
thanks, dev :)rak - too much of anything is all but comforting... and i've hadenough of this boring neverending winter! but thanks :)quilly - hardly... some powdery snow doth not stiricide make ;)
OK. Polona! let's summer things up a bit!__At our place at the pond, the water's edge is lined with pines, in the summer the tops -lean- just as these do.__Herons, when they leave their wadeing hunt along the shores and finally become air-born, their first perch is a pine's top! This was my FIRST thought... when I saw the -lean- of your photo! _m
oh, i wish i could see the scene you described, magyar. i'll swap winter for summer - bugs et all - anytime :)
Oh that poor tree, bent under the weight of winter. I feel like I shouldn't complain now I see that. In fact our snow departed, but grey and rain have taken it's place, and I wonder now whether the snow didn't have more to offer, in terms of light and beauty at least.
