We have those too; but I never knew what stung me, or that I was stung until returning home. Now I am on the lookout of what to avoid.
Are your beautiful mountains still snow capped?

What an interesting photo - of a stinging nettle. That's original.
I haven't seen you on my blog for a while so I thought I'd pay you a visit and see how you're getting on.
My book, Cut Short, finally launched and has been selling so well that my publisher has had to reprint after less than two months. Please take a look at my blog to see what I've been doing. You can read some reviews of Cut Short on amazon.co.uk
I hope you read it and let me know what you think of it!
