I was going to say, this sounds like a rather final parting. I could not stand a life without sunshine. I am part plant and thrive on the light.

it's bloody depressing, i can assure you, quilly. and seeing the forecast (no more snow but nothing but rain for several days to come) makes me want to open my veins - or move to hawaii :o)

Hey Polona...

so very foolish me!! How many times in a year -- 364/5 times depending on if its a leap or not :))

i should have said "How many times we do that in a Life!" :)

and the answer -- GOD alone knows... :)

wishes,
devika

Mighty beautiful photograph though.

well, if you see nothing but colourless grayness turnig into blackness and back to greyness for days on end there's nothing to say farewell to, don't you think, devika?
does a 'regular' year have 364 days in india? ;))

thank you, monique - i've been away from your blogs for too long but things are a bit hectic around here...

Dramatic image. I can't get over the deep hue catching the tops of the the trees. Lovely.

When I first saw this image among the others it felt quite warm, but on closer looks, and thanks to your title, I can feel the heat receeding leaving me in the dark and the cold.
